Cosmocoloss: a radio-play
Cosmocoloss. A Global Climate Tragic Comedy
This play written in 2011, has been played the 6th december 2013 in German on the Bavarian radio under the name of Kosmokoloss: Eine Tragikomödie über das Klima und den Erdball. and in French on the 15th of November 2016 on France Culture.
Written with Chloé Latour & Frédérique Ait-Touatti it has been followed by another play, "Gaia Global Circus" written this time by Pierre Daubigny, in French, which has been premiered in Toulouse in September 2013 and then on the 30th of November and the 1st of December in Reims at La Comédie before being played in Karlsruhe and Neuchatel.
What you will find here is the rough draft of the first play (code named Cosmocolosse) the English translation by Julie Rose and the German translation and adaptation by Margrit Rosen as it has been played on German radio.
An attempt at bringing in on stage the global climate crisis by exploring the disconnect between the dimension of the crisis and the lack of "feel" for it.
